In this image, Robert has captured Tuscany, a charmed land, equally blessed by the genius of man and nature. Robert beautifully depicts the rows of baby green vines marching in arrow straight formation up the gently rolling hillside, flanked by single files of darker green cypress trees.
Robert invites the onlooker to take a stroll along sandy roads leading to rust colored farmhouses and moss-coated castles. Every farmhouse has been sheltering families for centuries and their memories linger in every stone and rafter.
As an aspiring artist, Robert felt compelled to capture this enchanting birthplace of artistic genius Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo on canvas, almost in an effort to draw inspiration and motivation from Tuscany’s artistic heritage.
