Thomas Kinkade was a life-long admirer of Walt Disney and the wonderful characters he created. In collaboration with Disney, Thomas Kinkade Studios has created the Friendship Moments series, a collection of art featuring favorite characters and their best friends painted in beautiful Kinkade settings.

Christmas markets always feel like stepping into a storybook, where winter’s chill becomes an invitation to gather close. This piece captures Disney’s Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip ‘N Dale and all of their friends and family in the heart of a European village transformed into a holiday wonderland, where carousel lights dance against fresh snow and every wooden stall promises gingerbread and wonder.

One can almost smell the roasted chestnuts mixing with cinnamon and hear the cheerful chatter of friends discovering treasures beneath twinkling garlands. • Daisy Duck’s nieces April, May and June are riding the carousel, while Mickey Mouse’s nephews, Morty and Ferdie, are throwing snowballs at each other. This is the first time Daisy’s nieces have been included in a painting by Thomas Kinkade Studios.
