Art Notes
Nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park lies a covered bridge dedicated to the areas first family of settlers, Fredrick Emerts. My wife and I came across it on a scenic trip to Gatlinburg one afternoon and the sudden burst of colors filled my mind with an inspiring palette of colors. As we traversed the path connected to the bridge, the vibrant autumn foliage surrounded us on every side, giving off the sensation of serene beauty and peace. As I gazed under the majestic covered bridge, I noticed a quiet stream which added a pleasant touch to the gorgeous scene unfolding before me. This natural beauty will forever remain close to my heart as one of the most inspiring moments I have witnessed.
