Art Notes
Hogwarts Castle boasts a hundred and forty-two staircases within the many towers, turrets and extremely deep dungeons. The Grand Staircase led from platform to platform and went all the way to the seventh story. New incoming students would learn of the stair’s knack for moving around the staircase chamber, and of the many trick stairs they would have to negotiate. Portraits cover the walls, and it’s considered a great honor for the painted likeness of a witch or wizard to be hung on the walls of the Grand Staircase. Join Thomas Kinkade Studios as we climb Harry Potter™ Grand Staircase.

- Amongst the paintings on the wall, can you find the tribute to Thomas Kinkade? (Hint: Thomas once created a painting titled The Old Watchmaker.)
