As the lights brighten up the plaza, one would be stunned that the day was already over. The great tree, in all its magnificence, sheds light on the young girls and old alike as they enjoy the final moments of the night. I stand, as if paralyzed, amazed at the magnitude of the spectacle in front of me.
The sounds of the city, the thousands of bright lights, and the thousands of people surrounding give the majestic impression that the city never sleeps. I think of how amazing it is that everyone, no matter what race or age, can come together for this beautiful sight and enjoy the holidays in New York.
