From royal princess to rebel hero, Leia Organa ™ is a symbol to the galaxy. She is a reminder to stand tall in the face of adversity and to speak out in the name of freedom. Dressed in a ceremonial gown, she stands ready to bestow medals of heroism. But this image invites us beyond the famous throne room sequence and into Leia’s past. Through its black and white visuals, we see the princess for all that she is. Her commanding gaze is reminiscent of her mother, Padmé Amidala ™. The Queen of Naboo lives on in Leia, as she carries the same forthright values. There is a distinct level of stoicism to her visage. No matter the victory, she knows the war is far from over. Many conflicts will ensue, and the Rebellion will look to her guidance. So, Leia will answer and remind the galaxy of why she is the Princess of Alderaan.
