Art Notes
Gliding down the canal on an elegant gondola, we gaze at the ancient buildings towering over us. We notice that inside each window, there is a story waiting to be told. Across the way, we find a café, bustling with locals and excited tourists going about their day. In the background, lighting up the Grand Canal, is the breathtaking Santa Maria Della Salute. This inspiring beauty surrounding me transforms into an image that I must bring to life.
As these thoughts gather and the setting sun brings the day to a close, my wife and I decide to join the locals for a bite to eat and a glass of wine across the way from one of Venice’s many jewels.
